IIIrd Ibero-American Series of Coins
Commemorative coin dedicated to Typical Ibero-American Dances and Dress, which continues
the Ibero-American Series of Coins under the generic motto "MEETING OF TWO
WORLDS". This issue was made between 12 countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador,
Spain, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Portugal, Uruguay and Paraguay (taking part for
the first time).
The design of this coin, made by the artist of this Institution, Carlos P. Rodriguez
Dufour, won the first prize for the best design of the Series through the direct
votes of all the participating countries.

Motif of reverse The reverse is common for all the participating countries, showing the nominal value "$25", the year of minting, the legend "REPVBLICA ARGENTINA" and the National Crest surrounded by the crests, in smaller size, corresponding to the rest of the countries making up the issue. |
